Hey guys! So I'm sure you all can tell by the photos, I have short hair, I've had short hair for a long time, pretty much since I graduated high school back in 2013 and I love my short hair and I'm always looking for new and fun ways to style it. Now I am no professional hair dresser, just someone who likes to find cute hairstyles and try them on myself, so I decided to share some of those ways with you guys! (these can also be used for longer hair).
I have also been loving hair scarfs and scrunchies that have bows on them and so most of the hairstyles I'm going to share with you will have those in them!
The Half-Up Pony!
The first style I'm going to be sharing with you is actually one I'm wearing right now as I type this. Its the half up pony but with a scrunchy that has a bow on it!
Take a clear elastic
Take half of your hair (or however much you want) ,I usually start at my ears and go up from there.
I put it up in a half pony with the clear elastic
Then take the scrunchy and wrap that over top of the clear elastic and TADA! One cute hairstyle!
The Half-Up Bun!
The next style is basically the same as the first one but this time it's a bun.
Take a clear elastic.
Gather half of your hair (or however much you are wanting to use).
I got to wrap my hair in the elastic like I want to put it in a pony tail but I don't pull it all the way through, I keep wrapping and then secure the bun on top with the clear elastic.
(Optional) Finally, take a cute scrunchy or hair scarf and wrap that around the bun and your done!
The Low Pony!
This one is pretty simple and will only have a couple steps.
Take either a clear elastic or a scrunchy, whatever you prefer.
grab your hair from above your ears and gather it down at the back of your neck.
Take your elastic or scrunchy and tie off your pay tail and there you have it, a low ponytail!
Then I usually take some hairs in the front and pull them out to frame my face more.
(Optional) You can either leave your low pony as is in a clear elastic or you can take a hair scarf and wrap it around it and knot it at the top to add something more!
The Low Bun
So this last one is pretty much the same as the low pony but just a bun version.
Take any elastic or scrunchy (I'm using just a scrunchy)
Gather all your hair at the back of your neck starting at the top of your ears and going down towards the back.
Take your scrunchy and start wrapping it around round your 2 or 3 times to form a messy bun.
Then I usually take some hairs in the front and pull them out to frame my face more.
And there you go! A messy but still cute bun
