Hey there! So you guys voted last week and todays blog post is all about my top 5 favorite eyeshadow palettes! These are the palettes I use the most when I do full face makeup. This doesn’t mean I use every single color out of these palettes all the time but I use quite a few of them the majority of the time! Links to all these products will be listed at the bottom of the blog.
My first palette is probably my very favorite out of all of these palettes! It was my very first ColourPop purchase a few years back and I’m still in love with it every time I use it! This palette is also probably the simplest palette I own since it only has 4 colors in it and I mainly use the first 2 when I do any eyeshadow look because I like to use the cream as a base color and then I like to use the golden sparkly one as my shimmer on top! ColourPop doesn’t even sell this palette anymore and I honestly don’t remember the name of it, that’s how “OG” it is, so I’m really happy I bought it when I did! But I’m sure you might be able to find one that’s similar on ColourPop’s website.
The next palette is also from ColourPop, I’m sure you cant tell by the photo that’s is Disney’s Frozen themed and this is the palette inspired by Anna and yes I have Elsa’s as well but I’m really big into browns, neutrals and gold tones so Anna’s is my favorite from that collection! The colors are so beautiful and can be used for any occasion! The chunky gold glitter in the middle is one of my favorite colors in this palette! It adds the perfect amount of sparkle to any look!
Next is yet another ColourPop palette, this is the last one I promise! Their palettes and just makeup line general are all so beautiful and crazy inexpensive, compared to more high end brands, but still amazing quality! This palette is also Disney themed, and my best friend Aly gifted me this one for Christmas I believe. It’s called “Midnight Masquerade” and all the colors are gorgeous and I love how they are all based off different Disney characters! My favorite colors out of this palette are “Mamma Odie”, “Pip’ and “Mrs. Potts”. I definitely need to do more looks with just this palette!
The fourth palette for this list is another one I have had for a few years and this one is probably the most expensive one on this list. It is Urban Decay’s “Naked Ultimate Basics” palette! I was so excited when they announced they were releasing this palette because I have had a couple other urban decay palettes but I wanted something with all matte colors, this was back when I wasn’t into experimenting with makeup looks and just wanted to keep it simple, but then my wish was granted and Urban Decay came out with their first ever all matte palette and I just had to have it! I’m sure you can tell by the photos that I’ve used a certain few of these colors a lot and I still use them when I want a more low key look! I’m not sure if Urban Decay still sells this palette, it might’ve only been available for a limited time. But maybe if you google the name you can find it or something similar!
The final palette for this list is the biggest one I own, which was also gifted to me by my best friend Aly for my birthday last year. This palette is called Morphe “Second Nature” Eyeshadow Palette and it literally has every single matte brown/gold toned colors I could ever want! I honestly probably don’t need anymore palettes ever again but I mean that’s not going to stop me from buying more! With this palette I like to have fun and get 3 random numbers from a number generator on google or by asking Siri to give me a random number between 1 and 35 and then I make a random makeup look at out those 3 colors and they always turn out super cute!
